There’s not many people around in the middle of the night!

Flights were good, all luggage arrived on time and all was going well until I found out I had messed up the hotel booking! But one night in a sister hotel and all was sorted by the Coast High Country Inn staff – yet again!

And thanks to Mark Redwood (best bike mechanic in the East Midlands who packed the bike for me) and Andy Gregory (fellow 300 MTB competitor) who helped unpack and rebuild, the bike is now at local bike shop Icycle being winterised.

And I’m wide awake at 3am with jet lag …….
