In 2015 I fogot to take food with me on the longest leg – Pelly Farm to Scroggie Creek. With help from God and inspiration from friends and the example of the original gold rush pioneers I got through ok.
In 1909 Bishop Stringer was travelling across the mountains to Dawson and got lost. A 5 day trip turned into 51 days. To survive he ate his boots.
To prevent me having to do the same my friends Charlotte and Gary called to bring an alternative – a bra made of candy and a necklace of jelly babies! They brought love and hugs as well. Thank God for friends.
Not sure about the thermal properties of the bra though!
Safe travels Pat. And safe racing. Missed the opportunity to give you a hug yesterday so sending you a virtual one with our love 💗
