In 48 hours I should be at Heathrow, checking in for the flight to Vancouver.

So this morning I’ve tested the stove yet again, lit a fire in case I’d forgotten how, walked the dogs, paid the bills, done some work and I’m now putting together a powerpoint for the pre-race prayer meeting.

I’m using photos from previous YAU races – some are mine and others are from Andy Heading and Yann Besrest-Butler. Putting those to the song “You raise me up” is making me a bit tearful. I’ve had such amazing times in the Yukon (good and bad!). Soon I’ll be back there again.
