Bike looks good, nicely colour co-ordinated (apart from the avalanche shovel) but there’s still lots to go on. Spare clothes, spot tracker, thermos flask, head torches and spare batteries. And the avalanche shovel I am starting to hate.

And I haven’t sorted a rucksack for the insulated bladder, a bag for the handlebar or exactly what to wear. But I keep reminding myself that God is in control of the little things as well as the big things. Even avalanche shovels.
